Papasteeze Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 NASTAR is about money. USSA is about learning. ASRA is about fun. FIS is about fame and chicks. Just my 2 cents. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I love that one!!! I gotta remember that analogy.. Good one! Quote

Papasteeze Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Thursday - Sunday (well Sunday is the race of champions, and Adam better not win, cause he's leaving sunday morning).... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's expensive but I would cancel the flight out if Ridge wins.. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted March 23, 2005 Author Report Posted March 23, 2005 It's expensive but I would cancel the flight out if Ridge wins.. I'd count on him winning. He's first in the nation, so there is a pretty good chance of it.... Quote
Ski Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 Last year's Overall National Champion was from Montage. She smoked everyone in Sunday's Race of Champions to win easily. She was just four year's old, btw. Quote
Papasteeze Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 I'd count on him winning. He's first in the nation, so there is a pretty good chance of it.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He has got some stiff competition, I scoured the website and found about 20+ 10 yr olds registered, of about 5 who have mid to high teen handicaps, real solid looking racers. My guesstimation is that is also where Ridge's HC is really at. Ridge likes racing in ruts, he says they are like race car turns, like a skiercross, so he has that going for him. HC 16, 19, 24 place 1st, 2nd and 3rd last year. Gotta finish packing. Quote
ridge Posted March 23, 2005 Report Posted March 23, 2005 The Dude got 5 hadeycap he is rocking! Quote

AtomicSkier Posted March 24, 2005 Author Report Posted March 24, 2005 Ha, my race skis have been waxed and stored. I have rock skis for just about every evil surface, including rock quarries. blah! You need a rock pair of GS:11s. Anyway, the weather has really turned around this week, we should be good for tomorrow. Hey, are those K2 slalom skis you have "rocky" enough? Cause i'd like to try something with a really tight radius Quote
