Looks like the lights may finally be on at Camelback. A little hard to tell for sure, because the web cam is zoomed in on the trail map at the base. But before it was in the dark, now it's not.

Snowmaking starts tonight my friend

Lights are on so my shades in my room are closed. It appears they are NOT blowing snow though.

CB's website has posted a video of the snowmaking that they started after midnight.

They will have a lot open by the looks of it opening day. Rodo definitely.

 

If CB offered a affordable pass and didnt have dicks as rangers and ski patrol (medical aid that think they can enforce ranger code?wtf) Id go . I went to the job fair in hope of getting a pass from a shit job, but i walked out due to like 400 people. Id rather give the job to a 40 year old that needs $7.50 an hour.

Anybody else take a look at Cb's snowmaking agenda? I know the last warm season we had (06-07?) they had a different snowmaking plan for the mountain (no Marjies, Cleo, and Honeymoon Lane, only 8 trails open by X-Mas) but this is another different one from then... Wonder what the reasoning is there...
