C1erArt Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Hit the slopes about 9:30 and was the only one out there for about an hour or so - nice having a private resort. Thunderbolt was open, but was a little bumpy - hard on the knees if I went too fast. Challenge was real smooth, a little soft but not too bad. The glade was a little soft and starting to lose some cover (temp in the mid 40s). A little foggy, but visibility was OK, no rain or mist. Top of Thunderbolt 1 Quote

ectobar Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 I was up there on Monday 12/14. Pretty much the same conditions. Maybe 8 other people on the hill the whole day. But one of those people lost a dollar, and my gf scooped it up... And there was an intense game of Beer Pong going on in the lift line... 1 Quote
Dan- Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Was up there today, super fun, soft snow, and about 10 other people on the mountain all day. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 Thanks for the update C1er. Mid week at JF is awesome. Quote
Robert2 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 I arrived at noon. First day back for me. I liked the surface. It was groomed hardpack with soft sticky on the sides closest to the trees. Nice fast controllable riding all afternoon. Just another day in paradise. I'm going to buy another case of beer for JF groomers. First day back...45 degrees.. and the surface was just as ridable as any winter day. Somebody is doing a good job here. Quote
