EAZY-Emuntz Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 When are we gonna see a major cascade rebuild? Quote
mollyskeez Posted January 5, 2010 Report Posted January 5, 2010 also will there be any legit comps at bear this year? Quote
antman12 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 I want to know when we will see a Cascade rebuild too. And why does everyone hate the cliff? I enjoy jumping of the side and sometimes the top. But if you dont like it..... ride by it? And I have been impressed by bear over the past week or two. 1 Quote
lumilautailija Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 because they could put a hit or something in place of the clff Quote
Saurus Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 the cliff drop kills the flow of the park, has no landing, it is pointless. It would be cool if they pilled snow up and used it as a drop. 1 Quote
gnarbre12 Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Park was awesome today. Mad props to the crew for their hard work. Quote
Saurus Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 the only thing i dont get about park crew is that we see them out for a solid hour non stop working then you never see them again for the day. why not work a little, take a break, then work more. they did a nice job yesterday, so props 1 Quote
Humbleslc Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 Why aren't the carrots being used for the lips? Quote
mollyskeez Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 the jumps were soo sick today and the snow and park was sick in the morning. im guessing they blew last night so IMO the new method is a keeper. Quote
mollyskeez Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Carrots are worthless. true they just fall out and are laying down the trail somewhere. Quote
EAZY-Emuntz Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 why no chalk/spray paint this year? Quote
skeer_tomas Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Personally I hate the way spray paint looks (especially in the spring when stuff melts), but if that's what people want we can go back to the spray paint. On another note, we're planning our first major build for Cascade park for this Tuesday night. We may have it closed down for a while Wednesday morning to get stuff shaped so keep an eye out for updates. Quote
Tyler Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Great day today. Once the snow finally stopped and you were able to get speed the jumps were awesome. The first one in cascade is perfect and the bigger hit in tubing is great as well. Props on a good job building those two. The first in tubing felt somewhat strange, the lip seemed huge compared to the rest of it, but whatever it served its purpose well to guage your speed for the second. Overall, a job well done to the park crew and the only way i could see the need for spray paint is for times like this morning when the light is flat. Its hard to spot your landing sometimes when the sky and the snow blurr together, but i really dont think its a neccessity most of the time. Quote
antman12 Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 The park has been sick the past couple nights. Good shit park crew! And the new jump in cascade is perfect. But whats up with the first jump on Black Bear, isnt it possible to get ANY light on it... Quote
Kyle Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 anyone gonna be there tomorrow? white helmet, white anons, tan pants, either a black, blue, orange jacket or a blue sweatshirt with a ride shirt over it. Quote

Saurus Posted January 9, 2010 Report Posted January 9, 2010 Around 30 for the first jump in cascade. And prob 40 for the big hit in tubing. Quote
