skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 CB, closed. What will be open Saturday? Quote
skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 I can feel the withdrawal symptoms starting to set in... Quote
skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Desperately searching for open resorts... Quote
skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Not prepared for Pocono resorts to shut down Quote
skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 Belleayre? Huntah? Windham? Maybe CB will reopen? Let's pray to the snow gods. Quote
sibhusky Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 We closed today. It was pouring rain, but I hadn't planned to ski anyway, since Siblet is on her way to Park City on her first solo plane trip. We hope to ski Fernie over Spring Break and maybe Blacktail. Quote
skigurl Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 CB has 33 trails with full coverage, just not enough ticket buyers...it's depressing and i'm not even able to ski Quote
Ski Posted March 28, 2005 Author Report Posted March 28, 2005 CB was CROWDED Friday by Montage standards. We had to wait in lift lines and wait for headwalls to clear. They are just getting ready for summer and don't give a crap about a spring skiing season. They could clean up after this coming rain and have great conditions through next weekend with no problem. I got hung up by some noobies several times on Cliffy, and some of the front four. And yea, there were liftlines, which was amazing, hell, I parked in the last row of the bottom lot (against the woods). Conditions were decent, probably really nice in the morning Quote
Schif Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 The morning was awesome, good snow everywhere. Even the sides of the trails were rideable and formed some cool natural jumps. Quote
skimom Posted March 28, 2005 Report Posted March 28, 2005 I'm about 90% for next Sunday. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sunday will be tough, if not impossible. Maybe Saturday for us. BTW, '999, those 1-4 year-olds in Park City looked almost as good as the '999let. Quote

Ski Posted March 28, 2005 Author Report Posted March 28, 2005 They ran them until 3/27 last year. There's a possibility, although it looks like they didn't have them last weekend and maybe not this past weekend. Quote
