CB Rules at NASTAR Championships

Camelback aced the NASTAR National Championships, coming in 10th from over 100 resorts competing. CB beat most, if not all, other East Coast Resorts, and many of the large resorts in the Rockies. Much of this was due to the great efforts of Ridge and the 'dude, but also a smidge from myself and strong finishes from several of the CB CAT team racers.

And, everyone had a blast. Alta received 85 inches of snow during our week - PC only somewhat less, and we were drowning in powder. Although not the best for racing, the massive powder was an experience.

The powder was not ideal for racing, but it will be getting packed down more each day, and should be nicer for the Siblet. I don't think there are any more large storms expected this week.

Sib...The race was actully pretty nice conditions...Some of the snow we got was pretty wet, and that had time to freeze up...Should be a pretty good race for her.

2006 Nastar update..

 

Camelback as a resort team placed 42nd on the top 100 list from the Nationals after placing 10th last season. Blue Mountain placed a respectable 20th place and Roundtop placed 12th. This may not mean anything to anyone but I thought it interesting enough to post.

I could've skied "for" Breck if i I want to, or anyone. I doubt any mountain cares if Ridge Larick represents them or the next mountain. I'm sure Camelback was really mad when you decided to remove Ridge from the Camelback Nastar Team.

there NasCar team was truely lacking then......err that speed skiing team thing I mean....

Ridge had his best HC at Breck, there was no reason to change it and all the reason to give a little bit of representation back for all that they did for Ridge while we were out there.
