Rambo Posted January 9, 2010 Report Share Posted January 9, 2010 Skied Elk today on Demo day. Tried 3 skis: Fischer Watea 84, Dynastar Sultan 85, Elan 888. Not super crowded, fairly short lift lines. I am a GS cruiser so I did a lot of runs down Susquehanna and Tuscarora. Asked around about the Coors Light discount lift tickets. Someone said to stop at a beer distributor and ask to see if they have any of the Coors Light Discount lift tickets to Elk Mountain. SO on my way home to Binghamton,NY, I stoped off in Hallstead, PA and went to the Beer Store. The guy did have some of the Coors coupons - Good on Wednesdays for a day or night lift ticket for $20. Valid Jan.6. 2010 through March 10,2010. So I bought a 24 pack of Coors light and I asked the guy if I could have 2 vouchers and he said sure. Actually they are stickers that say Elk - Wild Wednesdays! $20. Lift Ticket. (Not even sure if a purcahse is required but I like Coors Light). rummy Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 Don't know what the set-up will be this year, but in the past, they had live entertainment and goodies by the "Coors Lite" girls in the bar starting around 4:00 PM. Coors Lite would spring for the band and maybe marketing $$ are tight this year.?? If you know a friendly distributor, you could probably get some freebie coupons, but the idea is to sell beer and get the coupon on the case. The beer store at the Convience Mart exit 206 (Elk Exit) has the coupons. I'll give a follow-up report on the entertainment after Wed. moe ghoul Posted January 11, 2010 Report Share Posted January 11, 2010 Cut a piece of the coors lite case out and put the sticker on it when you turn it in, I heard Elk is pissed that peeps are showing up with stickers and no beer carton cut out.
