Way to short really only two full days....when I hit Aspen I am doing it right. Aside from my ski gear and cowboy hat, all I will need is a speedo and scarf for the Jacuzzi!!!

Flight arrives in ASE at 10AM. All 4 mountains are within 3-5 minutes of airport. 3 full days of Aspen-live the dream GSS...Or we can just do Blue tomorrow at 8AM and tear up the BMDI at 10? :)

I have been following the Epic thread..I may have to book my trip next year at the same time as you guys...you'd be surprised but I know a few sweet overlooked spots that even a barking bear would enjoy. Did you stay in the 49er? This was my first trip to Jackson hole where I only ate Bubbas BBQ once.. :drool

Glad you got dumped on..fo real..looks deep in the village..one dude on Teton Gravity posted about doing a lap in Teton Pass yesterday morning..then doing a Bell to Bell 9AM-4PM day at Jackson Hole..followed by apres-ski beers...and I thought I had a good day yesterday at Blue..

Last year was great for us too. We hit some killer shots off of Thunder, Saratoga Bowl and Hobacks. I am sure there are many nooks and crannies we can show each other, the place is awesome. Hit Bubba and DOG twice and both ties were great.

Funny how Utah (esp LCC) is known for its massive amounts of snow...JH holdin down the fort :)

That's cherry picking data, prior to this last week it was a very different story.

As of 1/22/2010

Jackson Hole - 124" - 63% of normal

Snowbird - 153" - 74% of normal

As of today

Jackson Hole - 247"

Snowbird - 234"

We'll see by the end of the season. Jackson Hole averages 370", Snowbird averages 465". When they are even or JH is ahead it is a real bad year for Utah.

But the week prior JH had a deeper base depth then Alta or Snowbird :banghead I just thought it was interesting. And, I'm pretty sure AltaBird average a healthy amount over 500"

Alta does, though Snowbird gives different numbers in different places.
