ski911 Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Freezing rain = detachable chair no worky right Mother nature 2 Camelback 0 Quote
AtomicSkier Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Freezing rain is actually an acceptable reason to close a high speed lift. Although, I've skied in freezing rain plenty of times at blue and their high speeds were still running. The amount of force applied by the detaching mechanism is so high compared to the amount of ice that can build up in CB/Blues 4 minute lift ride. Quote
DiMe Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 Once again not surprised & should have been expected of them. Quote
VTSKI Posted January 17, 2010 Report Posted January 17, 2010 times 3...except Blue still runs the 6=pack in freezing rain.. Blue is not concerned about SAFTEY! Poor grooming to start! Running lifts (detachable) in unsafe weather conditions. The only thing there concerned about is getting your money and giving you a speeding ticket if you 1 Quote
