I skied Wed and was surprised to find really good conditions. The only ice was on the bump trails of Chippewa, Tunkhannock, and Mohawk. I did not find any ice on any other trail. Grooming was it's usual excellence, and the only snow-cone like frozen granular was in front of the lodge at the B and C lifts.

Sky was overcast all day and temps were steady around 28. Two busloads of a NY ski club were the only sizeable crowd producers. Lines were non-existent. Beer was cold. MoeGouhl and his Dad were laughing it up in the bar.

Nice to meet you and your friend, Rummy, Elk was a good time as usual, Chippewa got some fresh blown on it Thursday nite, so it was the go to slope for us most of Friday. Tunk had a few lines on the skier's right half of the slope that still had some decent snow, but there was a lot of scraped off areas that the legs didn't like by Friday. The groomers were in great shape, we got a light dusting off and on but no significant snowfall. Place was nice n quiet Tues and Thurs. Wild wednesday saw a little more of a crowd, but no lift lines to contend with. Dad put in a few bunny runs on Wed/Thurs but bailed on Friday due to the crowds and Lehigh was closed all day. Met up with some ski club members and did runs with them as well.
