JFskiDan Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 things are shaping up nicely for saturday. i think this is accuweather being conservative. i have read some other things that say push those totals up quite a few inches. But.... its only wednesday. we could get feet of snow, or it could be 55 and sunny. this is after all, PA. Quote
moe ghoul Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Hell yeah! Will this be your 2nd Saturday at Blue? It's a rarity, and I don't keep count. But, I'm headin up bright n early if there's some decent production outta this front. Toss the sticker in yer glove box. Quote

But.... its only wednesday. we could get feet of snow, or it could be 55 and sunny. this is after all, PA. The difference is between the GFS and NAM model, the NAM says warmer storm more qpf 30" in philly. GFS says get the fuck out of here all that baja energy is going in the ocean and therefore 6-12". Because of the way the fucking polar jets are setup VT and co will see fuck all from this which really sucks. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 new snow forecast map...looks as if the 6-12" line moved up....supposed to be "paralyzing snow" for philly area Quote

DiMe Posted February 4, 2010 Author Report Posted February 4, 2010 (edited) Blue is going to get more then CB...maybe you should come to Blue! If it's significantly more I will but I doubt it would be more than an inch or less difference How is blue typically on a weekend storm day? Does the snow hold off the majority of the crowds an extra hour or so in travel time? Edited February 4, 2010 by DiMeThIcOnE Quote
AtomicSkier Posted February 4, 2010 Report Posted February 4, 2010 My only concern is that there is a PA Cup race at Blue on Friday and Saturday. I'm hoping they cancel it, and then it'll be empty until everyone shovels the driveway. I'm expecting some nice untracked empty runs while the snow is still falling. Quote
