I'm the transport service for the 'dude. He has a race near Buffalo at Holiday Valley. It's a tiny area, and I'm sure the quality of skiing will not be worth the trip driving in Friday rush hour traffic.

 

But, since I have to go, I might as well ski... :skilady:

I liked the NELSAP, too. I drive past that old ski place in Peapack, NJ all the time. When there is snow on the ground you can tell it looks like an old ski run. I heard the reason that ski resort closed is that the owner couldn't afford the liability insurance. What a shame.

There was also a resort in the cumberland county area of NJ that closed about 10 years ago.

yea there isa place near hunter that only has like 5 trails and relies on natural snow, there is a sign on the side of the road for

my dad said that he ahd heard about. he said he had seen it when he was younger and was a much better skier( he would go out west with friends all the time)
