C1erArt Posted March 7, 2010 Report Posted March 7, 2010 Great day, got there around 11:30 with the DW and SD (sweet daughter on spring break), was corn snow when we got there and progressed to mashed potatoes at the tops of the runs by the time we left arond 2:30. The Swix red wax I put on my skis Friday night was wearing off and they were sticking a little on the approach to the Exhibition bumps. Did Elevator once, was probably the easiest run all season even with the monster bump piles. Challenge glades were very soft, and the bumps were chopped down, allowing more options thru the trees. Exhibition bumps were fluffy bunnies. Some big snow piles in the middle of Rivershot, but the other slopes were still nice and smooth, even with having a lot of loose snow. Sunny, around 50 when we left. Parking lots weren't as full as previous Sunday's, but with the Olympic and snowstorm bumps, seemed to be more crowds than previous years in March. Doesn't look good for next weekend, should be above freezing every night this week. Quote
