Are they going to put the lockers where the slides used to be? Would this require an entire new building? Not very Montage-like

I thought there was a gate they locked that blocked access to the lots...guess there's one way to find out for sure.

i dont think there is when i went up there wasnt the gate up but you can still park at the top or the side gate.

closing day at montage when i was eating there were guys there about expanding the park next year. they said they wanted to build their own rails at montage and get a pretty decent park scene going on.

That would be pretty cool. If they can ever get upper/lower fast track covered early enough, we could be looking at one of the best parks around.

ya it could be good if it was over on those slopes. they need to make the jumps as kickers and make the lips square. since i cant do rails very good it would be nice if they got more bowes. preferably rollercoaster or s box.

yea, and even before you get to the gate, there is that trail that leads up to the top of the mtn, and if not, the gate is only to stop cars, not people

Well i am definetley gonna be in the know next year because all of my brothers friends are taking over the park. They are all real good skiers who know what they are doing.

ya if they could only get one of those slopes open early in the season it could become a great park. i might ski next year and even if i keep with boarding a great park can inprove my skills greatly.

the problem that montage has with putting the park on upper and lower fastrack is that they don't have enough snowmaking on those trails to make a skiable base and put jumps and rails in. They have to rely on natural snow for the park to be over there. If you remember 2 seasons ago( not counting this one) they had an abudance of snow from the christmas storm and a couple 5 inch storms in early janurary. thats when the had natural snow to help with the base and then they were able to blow for the jumps. so just make sure you hope for snow this up and coming year.

well i know one of the things they are using there 2 million in renevation to sell the place is improveing snowmaking. i m not sure how much though because they were trying to buy the damn right below the mountain for 800,000.
