I've never actually posted in the Bear Creek forum so this is cool for me. I was reading the New York Times today and came across this article about a crazy obstacle course race and it looks like its going to be making a stop at Bear Creek. Kind of cool and a pretty badass way to spend a Saturday.

Oh, about a month ago maybe, I went hiking (I know--me hike??)in some state park (no clue on the name or honestly where it was located), and totally saw a bunch of guys preparing for this. They were running around on the trails carrying logs. We asked them what they were training for, and they said the Mudder at Bear Creek. Pretty cool, I guess?
