moe ghoul Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 So they planted 1200 trees. Ya can't even ski the existing ones. Kindly reduce the season pass by 10 dollars. I'll plant my own trees, thank you very much. Quote

moe ghoul Posted September 11, 2010 Report Posted September 11, 2010 Electric utility bills in PA will rise an average of 10+% starting in January 2011. I know Exelon/PECO got the approval, nor sure about other providers, but I would guess they'd jump on the bandwagon for rate hikes as well. Quote
rummy Posted September 11, 2010 Author Report Posted September 11, 2010 especially based on facilities and their location which is pretty far from affluent markets.. A lot of SP holders have a home in "the village" and surrounding vacation homes. Never heard an official figure, only that there are over 1000 SP holders. Many people come up from Phila., and in the parking lot, I often see license plates from NJ, MD, and NY. Quote

Quite a few season passholders are local and appear to be doing well living in Lackawanna county, lotsa Nat gas lease $$$ for locals if they own land. Secondly, and more importantly, I don't think the family that owns Elk gives a ratz ass about turning Elk into a 3 ring circus like Scamelback. I'm pretty sure he still gets a small royalty for every VW sold in the US, or so I've heard. Quote
