I have no idea what the efficiency on these is, but my guess is that they keep getting more guns because they are more efficient. They are probably retiring less efficient guns every year, but we don't hear about that...

The resorts interested in providing a better total quality product and being more energy efficient in the future are realizing the smart investment of fan guns. While they are expensive to purchase at first, they have a solid return on investment. Look at how much Mount Snow was able to reduce its footprint through the purchase of the fan guns. Good investment Big Boulder!

Arguably the best snow. Maybe the best snow in the Pocono Mountains... If we extend it to the Endless Mountains, I will take Elk any day of the week, rain, snow, or shine. I will not detract from JFBBs ability to rebound though. They definitely have Elk beat on snowmaking no questions asked...
