Johnny Law Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Heard about this last week....just fucking terrible Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 Unfortunately I see this being a trend... With most money being in the real estate business, those mountains without a ton of development potential will have a tough time staying solvent with just ski revenue, especially during bad snow seasons... I guess its better to lose them to a corporation than lose them forever? Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 And almost ran it into the ground along with the other ASC resorts... The investment was good, but the management of the investments was bad... However, many of the previous ASC resorts have been able to turn a great ROI with the new management... The end result... We win... Quote

trackbiker Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Sno Would be legit if Peak Bought it haha Well it fits their system. It's already lined with fan guns on the upper mountain anyway. They would likely do very well with Sno. Their formula for running those day tripper resorts in the midwest would likely transfer well to Sno. Snowtime who runs Whitetail, Roundtop, and Ski Liberty might bid as well. Windham didn't fit their mix. Seems they weren't able to make the transition like Peaks did to destination resorts? They might also have some cash available from that Windham sale. Quote
