Oh and you guys hating on A$-pens lift ticket prices are idiots. You get what you pay for. That's like going to a fancy restaurant and complaining that a steak is $40. You can always get a steak at a diner for $10...you guys are just jealous.

Sleepy time.

As far as steaks go, just because they think they're fancy doesn't mean they can get away with charging $40. I recently reamed a local place for a piece of pricey steak that tasted EXACTLY like what I'd cook in my own oven. Clearly wasn't "prime" beef, etc. I have had better at Ponderosa.

And by the way, I've skied Aspen several times (week long visits). It's nice enough but still not worth close to $100 a day. Unless you're looking to bag rich matrons in fox ski jackets, in which case, there's plenty to choose from. I loved the trips I took there and stayed decidedly "upscale" each time, but I don't think it even compares to many other places in CO I've been such as Telluride, Copper, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Arapahoe...I've skied them and many more out there over the years. Overall, I preferred Snowmass to Aspen, larger for one thing.

Glad you're having fun, but $100? sheesh. A fool and his money....

I am wondering why you paid $5 more than their website says the advance price is for a 5 day ticket...oh, maybe you included the $5 refundable deposit. I see Jackson is also $435 for five days at this time of year. Lots more to ski there as well.

Looks like next season you should get the pay as you go option... I assume that is what Jeff did.

My pass is not easy for most tourists to obtain. I flew out to Aspen for the day in November. 12 days in Aspen cost me $539. The good news is now I can renew it online each year. The in person requirement is only for the first year.

I was agreeing with you until here. I don't think aspen is worth $100 a day, but the aspen mountains are lightyears better than copper, Beav, Breck and Arapahoe. Ill agree with you on telluride. In fact, I love that place so much it may be the only place I wouldn't mind paying $100 for a lift ticket.

also, i would appreciate whoever is doing it to STOP DELETING MY POSTS!

thanks

Yeah Glenn I took a rest day..I suck at skiing and can only ski icy groomers...I spent the day making hand knit Jawns

Glenn you need to step it up or I mean step in a steaming pile of dog shit barefoot...not a stoke stomper a shit stomper. Haters gonna hate.

Doug you were the one who stated multiple times this year that that much snow is both too much to ski and dangerous because of avalanches and you don't want to die. You sir have been the hater.

Independence pass is closed in the winter. And we're flying out of Aspen, so no need to drive anywhere.
