Get on some wide skis and go fast and use a lot of power in your turns and you should be just fine getting through the mashed potatoes..in a typical warmer ski season you're gonna encounter spring conditions a lot so might as well work on your mashed potato skiing. Get forward and power through them.

They may be a day or two off at times, but I find the Old Farmer's Almanac to be disturbingly accurate... The Rockies are getting pounded tonight... Send that cold weather this way!!!

I'm hopeful there will be skiing Thanksgiving weekend

 

agree. hoping for anything earlier than that is just setting yourself up for dissapointment seeing how that really doesnt happen that often. 11/11/11 is really being optimistic. would be nice.....but......i would bet some beers it wont happen.

I'm not Ride Delaware '10 worried yet, but no good snowmaking days after Saturday in the 10 day forecast... It's pretty nice here in Maine... I expect t2b snowmaking tomorrow with a low of 15... I'll be out surveying as temps drop lol

I'm up for some stuff before I find out about my employment. I have a full Saturday and Sunday, so no time for boarding since they won't be open tomorrow. Didn't even bring my gear...
