I'm heading to VT on Tuesday, storm track going into wednesday looks promising so far. 8-16" is sounding pretty tasty if it pans out. 3-4 inches in the past 24 hours at Smuggs and it its snowing there right now.

I'm supposed to leave Tuesday, but if Wednesday pans out, I'm totally game to stay until Thursday.

I may hold off until Thursday and straddle the storms if next weekend looks bigger. I can only go up for 4-5 days this time.

I'm on the flip side of things. I've been up since mid January and need to get back.

Now I'm pushing it to Friday hoping the weekend and early next week gets a snow bomb based on early weather nerd whispering.

I'm coming up with 37" so far this year for Philadelphia. That number was derived from the internet, and i believe it is before today, so take it just as that. i do think philly has had more snow than northern areas, which is dumb.

Where you tour at?

Reading county club, lol not really interesting but it's well maintained and pretty.

I got some down hill in at blue.

This is going to sound dick but I don't like the fb weather shit. They post model runs without explaining to people that's a tool, nothing more, they went crazy last week with 12z euro and surprise it was gone on the next 12z run. Weather nerd rant over.

Facebook weather? Huh?

There has been a trend of officlial sounding weather groups that post model runs that are weather porn without explanation. There are always a model that says 4000"of snow and another that says ots. There exists no correct model, just ones that are less wrong, if you don't explain it to people they think somehow a bunch of fb people somehow know it's going to snow in two weeks. It's nerd stuff that rustles my jimmies....

I've totally stopped listening to FB, TV, radio, etc. weather, as it's all hype.

I take what Mother Nature gives and slide on it. You can't change it anyway...

My Subaru's will get me to the mountain and back, regardless (save ice storms).

EPAWA is pretty good. been paying attention to them for a while now. i dont think they hype shit, and they really haven't said much about the weekend storm other than its there on the models, and could be pretty significant. They were really on top of Sandy, when everyone was saying that was going out to sea, and it wouldnt affect us.

And yes, there are a ton of facebook weather sites, posting model runs from a week or two out, which is just silly. with facebook anybody can be a weatherman.
