Smuggs cam = rain today, weather is almost cold enough to blow snow at nights, and there's a chance for some snow this weekend starting tonite. They were hoping to open up the week of T-giving, its gonna be cutting it close to get a few trails open.

Yes, the emotional weather roller coaster has started................

Oh hell no on a just Vista opening that's a mess there's just not enough lift capacity. Blue mountain if you are reading this no vista only opening.

The last and only vista only opening was in 2012 the last time we saw out buddy ILikeIceCream on his rental skis.

I would take anything rather than nothing. You can stay home and rub one out if you can find it.

Main Street is my minumum but you're a Jibhonk so you have fun just buttering around. Anyway if you are cool with a tiny slope maybe you can hit up Big Boulder with PoconoOceanCity on Root Friday.

scratch that, im not sleeping in the lot lol.  a cheap motel room is a possibility though

Big boulder usually doesn't open until 10am and by. 10:10am there a long lift line of Jibhonks already. Usually opening day at BB is free lift tickets with ten cans of food. You can get cans of corn and green beans for like 50 cents each so I pretty good deal.

It is down, and for good. Trying to keep away the masses to give patrons the most natural PA backcountry experience.
