Looks like the snow bomb hoped for in VT has been scaled back quite a bit. Was hoping for something better. May head back up next week.

Temps are looking borderline, so it will probably be another elevation dependent accumulation. The tops of the mountains have fared well, but the stuff down low has struggled. 1-3" is a far cry from earlier estimations, but it looks like more coming Sunday night. These little inch storms add up...

No doubt, the refreshers add up. NWS is forecasting that going into next week, so that'll help. I may head up on Thursday for a few days, gotta be back before the 27th for Mrs. Ghoul's bday. Then head back up in Feb.

I'm headed back to DE Tuesday and then I've got to man the ship for a bit. I might make it up for one week in February, but that is yet to be determined.

Will look up both later. Thanks

Not super ritzy but the Bookstore in Bethlehem is a cool joint.

Who wants to talk about the weather anyway, this winter sucks.  Rain this weekend and 50's?  I should dig out the drytop and go kayak.

I'm not good at posting pics.  guess the temps were just coming from the stupid 104.5 radio station I was listening too, doesn't look like 50 here from NOAA

Friday Night 01/15 90% / 0.29 in

Periods of rain. Low 34F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.

Should have little impact on the snow, looks like a decent MLK weekend with a lot more terrain open.

Yeah, there's already a whisper campaign about "The Big One". I'll be reporting live from VT if it happens. Heading up Tuesday for some refreshers and hopefully.......DAHHHHHH...big one.

Hey I'll take any fresh stuff for am shift on saturday. Bring it on we need a coating bad.  Don't know how it looks at your mountain but it's awful brown down in macungie so far this year.

That's because it's Macungie.

I kid. It looks bad everywhere.

I'm dusting off the K2 pbr  brewskis.

Usually about 5 - 10 degrees colder in the pocs (not Palmerton or Lehighton but on the plateau itself).

We were forecasted for 2-4" up here at the Bush and it ended up over performing. We've picked up a solid 6-8" with it still coming down, albeit lighter and windier. They are expecting more tomorrow on my drive home.
