Still blowing at Abasin

It's not a lot of money to fly to Colorado it's just not worth it to me to fly there for one white ribbon of death.

I don't disagree. But if you have the money, free time, and aren't doing anything else, why not? Id rather do that than sit around at home with my finger up my ass...

You wanna smell my finger RideDE. Cause packing all ski gear driving to Newark flying to Denver renting a car driving to Abasin to ski one crowded run isn't worth it to me. I'd drive to blue for that.

Kind of a waste to have big mountains with tons of terrain and only skiing a lower mountain greenish blue groomer.

That's really what you do at home during your free time?

How do you move that stuff around?

You got like a dingo or something

Usually in cemeteries we can use a crane. With this job we got permission to park in the 7-11 next door and had to push everything on Buggys then build a ramp with blocks and plywood as the foundation was elevated. I'm a pretty strong mofo but I'm thankful our delivery guy is next level strong...the side tablets weigh about 700 pounds each and the middle one is 3" higher so probably about 800 pounds...bases weigh about 500 pounds each.

This is the foundation we put in last week...wasn't a big job but was through one of our funeral directors so they get a nice commish and always leads to more jobs. I prefer work in cemeteries but I don't mind the parade of college babes who walked by.

You own a flat bed crane?

Our truck is a flat bed with a lift gate and our crane can handle 2,000 pounds out about 20 feet and much more weight if we are right on the spot...for large jobs like statues and crypts and mauseleums we rent a crane. The four person mauseleum we did earlier this summer required a crane and a large but narrow truck which we used crane to transfer from huge truck that delivered the mauseleum. Cost of half day crane rental including operator, helper and transfer truck was about $3,000. Seems like a lot but the cost of these giant crane trucks new is about $1.5 million.
