Toast also worth mentioning that parking downtown is tough.  Here is a website https://boulder.bcycle.com/ They have self pay stations all over town and you can rent a bike, and drop it off at another station.   Also CU is playing home next Saturday.  Traffic on the west side of town will be hell, all the more reason to bike.  Where are you staying?

We are staying at Black Canyon Inn? It's in Estes Park, so not in Boulder.

What if we started planning a few PASR days at different mountains like in the old days? That might drum up some excitement. We pick a mountain, a specific type of beer, have everyone show up and have a good time.

Example: Elk, porters and stouts, Sunday morning. Game on. also someone bring cornhole or another tailgate game.

I'm in, variety is the spice of life, sadly I doubt you'll find many takers.

So when is NEPA skiing gonna start this year. A couple years ago I was at Blue the weekend before I ate turkey.

Hopefully in December. Forecast does not look good for November maybe a little snowmaking this weekend at big Boulder. My hope is that when it gets cold it stays cold for at least a few days so blue can build enough base to withstand the first thaw. I also really hope they are open Xmas week this year as I'm off work.

It really doesn't look good for anywhere in the Northeast. JLaw might have some real forecasting, but there looks to be a pattern change coming for New England the week of Thanksgiving. Before that, it's just some small shots of cold air here and there. Looks like tomorrow and Saturday should be cold enough for some snowmaking in New England. Killington has had all it can do to keep the North Ridge trails open. With no Locke lift this year, SR can't get in the game without t2b either. They may have a shot this weekend on Sunday, but from the looks of a patrol friend's skinning the other day, they have some serious ground to make up before that happens.

2008 was a cold November(1st year I got serious about skiing). 2014 was the last cold November I remember.

Hope K can pull off the WC

Root Friday?

I've heard that K-Mart has pulled hoses from the Skylark side so they can pound Superstar from both sides. Guns are already back on at the bottom, so I am guessing that with a low in the upper teens tonight, they will get plenty accomplished. I've heard it's about 2' deep at the base, so they should add considerable depth tonight.

I still doubt the public with have t2b skiing by Thanksgiving. If so, it will be limited and before all the North Ridge area is open...
