Winter storm watch is issued for the potential of 6"+. Some models are showing more like 10-12". Good timing for a rider of the storm session Thursday morning.

very good timing.  I'll be there.

Probably because nothing has gone on this season peeps are gunning hard on this one. EPWA or whatever is putting out jerk off material that says 6-12".

12" could happen certainly but it's a 3% chance, temp boundary issues are going to be around particularly for Philly area.

The key is if the water comes in early it will be too warm and you'll waste it as rain rather than snow. Watch the timing for the ratio issue, if you shoot the moon it could be 12-1 but it could also be 4-1, the temp crash is key.

Hopefully more than just a skif! But I have to be at work super early on Thursday so if it is more, hopefully it falls 6a-whenever.

Showing 5-9" overnight and 1-3" tomorrow AM...nice little thump.

I have seen lots of 6-10" thrown around.  I thought it was supposed to snow mostly during the day?    We get back into PHL tomorrow at 3:40 pm.  I guess i need to start paying attention to this a little more.

Hope you guys get the goods at Blue to freshen things back up a bunch.  It might make up for one or two of those days where sugar was on the menu.  Dont forget, widowmaker will be deep.  ski with a buddy, beacon, shovel, etc.

No this storm is a fast mover. Most will fall from midnight to noon. 340pm into philly doesn't seem like a problem.

Right now almost 50 degrees out and the densest fog ever. This snow can't come quick enough. I might even look at the bear creek cams for shits and giggles.

I'm actually most concerned that karaoke might be cancelled tonight as the DJ lives up in Walnutport and is a pussy about driving in snow. I'll still be accepting suggestions over on Facebook.
