Ski2Live what forecast are you looking at. This is for Mount pocono. Saturday doesn't look bad. Sunday looks bad.

 

My grandfather always liked that singing in the rain song.

Weather Channel App (same source as Weather.com) says 80% chance rain Sat and 50% chance Sunday at Blue, pretty similar for CB (90% Sat there) and Montage (60% Sat).

 

Looking at 1/4" rain Sat at Blue

Accuweather hourly shows no rain till 3pm.

Hourly forecast only goes out 48 hours but it shows (for Blue) 50% chance at 8 up to 55% for 9 and 10.

 

Will see how it evolves between now and Sat.

Looks like the best shot for NEPA skiing this weekend is Montage which is now showing only a 20% chance of rain on Sunday (the last day they are open for the season)

I don't know what forecast you're looking at but Scranton and Allentown both have a 50% chance of rain for Sunday now. Doesn't look like rain until after 2pm tomorrow.

Theres a 100% chance the forecast for next weekend is 50% off.  Long range forecasts are stupid.  Temps will be more accurate than any type of precipitation.

Yeah I don't put any credence in forecasts a week off, I was just misreading my app thinking the Sunday it describes was this Sunday

Camelback emailed me this morning to say they were staying open til April 16th. I don't believe them, but that's what they are saying

camelback is notorious for claiming a late closing and then going back on it.  they do it almost every year.  i have them closing april 9th.  yes, they are still the second best ski area in PA

You are wrong. Spring reopened earlier than blue opened last season.
