I think this is right. If I remember correctly it was removed at some point last season. I'm really excited that this 40th anniversary trail will be ready for the 50th in a few years.

Coulda sworn i still saw rebar in the water bars when i was up there biking over the summer. Regardless, it'd take some work to get to that trail thursday if the quad/six isn't running.

Also very curious to see what this storm does. The rain/snow line on the southeast seems less promising than a day or so ago, but blue still looks like they're solidly in the 12"+ range. Unfortunately, 12" on vista and berma doesn't really make them better.

poopy pump will need power at some point too, unless your system is in ground VS above ground.

very true, the pump for the drainfield is gravity fed from the septic tank. it'd be ok for a while since we wouldn't have any other water use (washer / showers / etc).

Well there's Midway, but everyone will track it out after 1 run.

I'm hoping this means more trails open this weekend, at least the Lazy Mile or maybe even my favourite Switchback. I'd be thrilled just to ski on high quality packed perder.

Not western groomers???

Looking outside my window I'm getting a Boner City for possibly skiing conditions like I experienced in Steamboat.

Does anyone know if it still has exposed rebar?

I asked on one of their FB posts and the comment was quickly deleted

I hope Philly gets shit on with a massive snow dump. I love the pictures of city streets down to one lane because of nowhere to put the snow.

I hope Philly gets shit on with a massive snow dump because that’s where the bosses live/work and much like the locals they act like there’s no snow anywhere if it’s not in their way.

It will be nice to get the XC skis out on the rail trails though...

I want to try XC but don't want to spend a fortune. Where do you get a cheap pair of boots & skis?

I'm not even excited for this. Not sure there will be much that's actually skiable from this. Which is lame.

I'll take an early season storm. Its nice riding the lift and not seeing dirt below. It's all about that base.

I do too.

I found a pair of skis on Craigslist in Beth'lum for $40. That's what I'm looking for, just something to mess around with in the woods to see if I enjoy it or not.
