The snow that has fallen on top of everything around my house which is covered in ice, now brings "slippery" to a new level.

Yup. Tried taking the dog for a walk around the yard.

Grass, fucking grass, was like a skating rink. The little bit of snow hides things really well. Hopefully the rain removes it. Tomorrow isn't looking so good.

Great. Power is out. I hear a few generators running. Time to go add to that i guess.

Didn't know you were still up. Wind starting to pick up here. If it weren't for the rain, id have taken mine out of the shed in advance.

I, too, anticipate some ol' tyme livin'

Are you in the poconos? If so let me know if you need anything. Or come by if your heat is off.

I really wanna ski tomorrow but it’s probably gonna be trash. This weather sucks

Be positive if you’re off work either ski or sleep late. This wind will dry out the snow right lol

i feel like I shouldn’t work hard or much tomorrow cause I voted for Obama in 2008..and he never gave me free cell phone but only have afternoon appointment tomorrow and no mail or bank tomorrow which is a little less stuff to do

So did anyone go to blue today?

Thought about it, but went outside to find the plow blasted my mailbox off its post.
Spent a rainy morning repairing it, fuckers!

Windy as hell. I’m opting for a late afternoon session after the wind tapers off. I’m hedging my bets on most of the tourists being gone by then coupled with lack of crowds tonight due to schools being closed. We’ll see if it pays off.

I did and almost made it a full two hours before soaking through. Snow was grate but had to constantly wipe (my goggles).

Lil Boo had camp and they had her out in rain for the entire 3 hours. Needless to say she wasn't happy.

Power is back on, i think it went back on around midnight.  so, i figured out why when the wind blew, there was always this weird banging noise, which whenever i heard it, i thought to myself what ever it is, it will self correct.  Turns out it was either the window shutter or downspout that got ripped off my house that was loose and making noise with the wind.  No more noise, i mean obviously since neither of them are attached to the house anymore.  Crazy windy though.

I didn’t go this morning. I’m sure it’s good.

Report from Gah-skier George said it was pretty good.  Good till on the snow and the place is a ghost town.
Still have to deal with the wind in same ol spots.

This blows. My driveway was the same. Fortunately I stocked up on ice melt a few years ago and melted most of this shit. The sun helped a lot especially at its angle this time of year
