Get on some wide skis and go fast and use a lot of power in your turns and you should be just fine getting through the mashed potatoes..in a typical warmer ski season you're gonna encounter spring conditions a lot so might as well work on your mashed potato skiing. Get forward and power through them.

They are going to cancel anyway.

That would suck major balls.... We aren't getting shit for snow down here in da hood so I doubt it.

Things are trending south!!!!

Snow in Philly till 1pm Friday...1-2 inches forecasted. You can have NMSkis chair if you want.

The fabric smells like farts.

Watch this one real close........ models don't do surface temps, all they are looking at is 850 which means homogenous nucleation can occur........this entire storms depends on northern energy phase, if the timing is off it can't put out enough water to overcome the aggressive sun.

 

But I'll be at Blue tomorrow AM for sure.

I'll be up in the afternoon or evening. Can't skip work tomorrow. Not sure it will really be worth it anyway since it will be heavy. Oh well it's still snow and in spring.

When is new snow not worth it??? Might not be that heavy with the temperature starting in the low 20s tomorrow. Tomorrow is the first day of spring. This has been the longest winter and ski season ever!!!

idk, this ski season has seem really short to me...

 

I think it feels that way because it's been so good. For a month and half/2 months blue had western like snow, everyday was a treat which is a change from alot of years junk snow.

 

I know its been super long, we had three weeks early of slogging every day on Lazy, my wife certainly reminds me but it just feels like everything just started.

It's definitely been a long time since Root and Ryan were skiing with us....Ryan was at blue visiting this last weekend and it was a bit of a stoke stomper as we were raving about the awesome days!!!

 

By the time I'm back from my Colorado trip in four weeks I think I'm gonna be content with ski season. I never used to be content even when I skied 100+ days...it feels good to know you skied as much as you wanted to ski!!! As far as beer drinking this season takes the cake. Almost every weekend day I drank in the lot and that was another fun aspect of this season.

gonna be an upside down storm. Be careful in the bowl, as avy danger will be quite high!

Looking at the accuweather forums this storm looks juicy and it could start a little earlier now...I don't know if it will be safe to drive to work Friday morning.

Yeah, you better drive to blue instead.
