Switchsideskier. Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 (edited) So yesterday 12/12 I ventured to Blue Mountain to ski in the rain. Sorry for the lame post...I was pretty tird... I gaurantee there was 10-20 people there. They weren't even scanning the tickets. The mountain eventually closed at 5pm. Around 4 I was skiing down Burma road. There was nobody around me so I decided to not go slow and just book it. Apparently a ski patroller was lurking in the woods or something as when i made it to the top of the main street lift I was greeted by one of Blue's finest and entered into 'The Database'. I was then asked why I did not stop to the patroller behind me. I replied that I did not hear them. The patroller then asked why I didn't hear the whistle. I responded with I was listening to music and told him that patrollers should wear lights on their coats like a police car so we can properly identify them. AtomicSkier Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 LOL and so it begins. Don't they have anything better to do in the rain then catch "speeders" on Burma. They really need to get radar guns. Quote
Switchsideskier. Posted December 13, 2010 Author Report Posted December 13, 2010 LOL I usually never ski fast on burma, but honestly it was pooring rain and the trail was empty. Quote
toast21602 Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 all you have to say is you won't do it again. i have been yelled at multiple time for skiing 'too fast' and as long as you are polite with them and don't cause a scene like others do, then you will be fine. i've had no issues do this, nor have the other park kids that i ski with. Justin Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 they should have flashing yellow lights like school zones installed Quote
Rodeo Steve Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 The database is a bit of a joke. Just don't light mortars off the 6 pack on New Years Eve. You will be escorted off the mountain. It was only for a day though. 3 Quote

AtomicSkier Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 for being out of control? They never whistle at out of control people, since they're beginners. It's those of us that actually know what we're doing that they're worried about Quote
