JFskiDan Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 got there just after opening. met up with PA Ridge Racer about 10 am. great conditions, slopes were groomed up nice and provided some real nice loose snow after they were skied on some. Challenge Glade still had some nice powder in spots. E-glade and elevator were pretty nice, some nice powder in there, on top of some land mines. Risk it looks ok, but the landings gonna be rough. Good snow day, it was hard to leave a day that nice. rolled out about 1:30. JAHHDIP Quote

JFskiDan Posted December 29, 2010 Author Report Posted December 29, 2010 light crowds, i was really suprised as i thought it would be alot more crowded. i dont think we waited more than 3 minutes for a lift. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Sunshine, powder, comfortable temperatures and Phresheez. What more could you ask for? Great day at the Mt. today. Quote
owenskier Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 btw, where is risk it and elevator?? not on trail map anymore, but remember them from a couple years ago, will be skiing frost next week Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 btw, where is risk it and elevator?? not on trail map anymore, but remember them from a couple years ago, will be skiing frost next week Neither are on the map anymore but both are still there. The elevator was overgrown with brush prior to last season but was cleared out and made skiable again. When you go, ski the trees to the right of one park and challenge for top to bottom tree runs (also not on the map but easily 2 of the best runs on the mt.) Have fun at Frost. Quote
C1erArt Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Elevator is off the right side at the top of the last head wall of Rivershot. There is a somewhat skiable glade on skier's right of the headwall above that. Risk it is off to the right at the top of Floyds. There is a flat section right at the top of Floyds, a cliffy jump, then trees below it. Between Floyds and the rhododendrons. Quote
