Ride Delaware ? Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 Rummy is a regular, and several of us get up there a couple times a season... Most people love the place... Let us know what you think... Quote
Rambo Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 I am going to Elk on Fri. 1/7/11 for the Winterfest. The deal is that if you went to certain ski shops in advance and purchased a voucher for $25. you get an all day lift ticket and there will be Demo guys there. If it is not snowing hard I will take some pics and do a trip report on Fri. evening. Quote

Ride Delaware ? Posted January 5, 2011 Report Posted January 5, 2011 I think we all know its worth a full day lift ticket, especially since the majority of the terrain is open... The possibility of 4-8 inches of snow really seals the deal... Take some pics for stoke!!! Quote
rummy Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Winterfest is usually a very good day at Elk. Lot's of Demo's set up by the picnic hut. A band in the bar later on in the afternoon, and I heard they are expecting a pretty good crowd. I also think they are setting up a women's day clinic on Friday. The skiing today was great, all trails open except upper Seneca and Lehigh. A light dusting of fresh snow and a small Wed crowd. No lift lines to speak of, just up and down nonstop all morning. And the sun was shining almost all day, a little breezy. The bumps are building on Tunk, with some ice in the troughs. Quote
