vinnyv11 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 I'm considering getting a season pass next year and JFBB offers a pass that is good through the rest of this season plus some other nice perks. What is everyones thoughts on this season pass and other mountains in the area. Anyone have any different suggestions to get the best value for my dollar. Quote
toast21602 Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 best value. get it if you like to ski there. Quote
JFskiDan Posted March 3, 2011 Report Posted March 3, 2011 if you buy now, you will most likely get this weekend and next at frost...would like to be more optimistic and think theres 3 weekends left at frost, but we all know ticket sales will dictate how long a mountain stays open. Boulder will be open until april most likely. you would also be able to take advantage of Camelbacks alien pass day, provided they do it as in years past. Frost and Boulder definetly dont have the most vert in PA for sure. i think tree skiing, snowmaking quality, grooming, and a very liberal "ski anywhere policy" make up for what they are lacking in vert. I think the crowds on the weekend are less than other mountains. Boulder usually opens first of all pocono mountains. Just my too sense worth. Quote
Barb Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Highly reommend JFBB. Everything Dan said. If you get there at 8 on a weekend you have the place to yourself until at least 1030, especially on East Mtn. Quote
Kyle Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 The thing I love about a season pass is you can go whenever, for however long you want. Dan pretty much hit the nail on the head. Quote
