phillycore Posted October 30, 2011 Report Posted October 30, 2011 Heading home from JFBB orientation, I hit up the pro night at Alpina and picked me up some Sunice GoreTex shell pants since I no longer fit into my old ones for some reason or another. No cargo pockets on the legs though which might suck since I'm used to stashing shit in those, but oh well they fit good. First pair of pants I've bought with the gore tex, so hoping it was worth the extra $$. Quote

Ride Delaware ? Posted October 31, 2011 Author Report Posted October 31, 2011 I don't get anything less for my gloves... Haven't sprung the extra bills on pants or a jacket, but if I go to SR, then I'll probably get at least one pair... I'll know next week... Quote
RyanPhillip Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 Just picked up some Oakley A frames... Anyone on here have Hi intensity yellow lens? I want to pick these up as a second lens and I am curious how good they work at night, I know they are great for flat/low light and I assuming they would be decent at night too. Quote

ON3P, thats nice dude, let us know what you think not too many people have a pair. Quote

That is what I figured, seems like clear lens would be a waste of money when the HI yellow could serve two purposes night, and days with flat light Quote
moe ghoul Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 new gear purchase 2004 ski doo summit 800 Bumping this out of envy. Noice!!!!! Quote
JFskiDan Posted November 1, 2011 Report Posted November 1, 2011 new gear purchase 2004 ski doo summit 800 good choice on getting something pretty current too.....i had 3 old snowmobiles and it seems like i spent more time fixin them than i did riding them. worst place to have a toy that requires a decent snowbase is PA too. Kyle Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 i think jordan takes the cake for most badass purchase. Quote
Ride Delaware ? Posted November 7, 2011 Author Report Posted November 7, 2011 It's definitely tough to beat a snowmobile... Quote

A binding check turned out to be a waste of money.... you can sign off on the binding release and request a specific setting. everything that comes out of any ski shop in this country, unless you sign something that says otherwise, should be set according to your height, weight, age, boot sole length, and skier type. buckmans doesn't do anything any differently than any other shop in that regard. 2 Quote

Buckmans....8.5 look on the DIN chart and i'd bet 8.5 is what you're supposed to be at. that's where i'm supposed to be too, but i definitely don't leave them there after i'm done binding checking my skis. Johnny Law Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 11.5 holy shit, either your riding Markers (lol) or I'm really old lol I knew a dude at Bear they called the doctor, made about six trillion jump turns every 100 yards. A serious muscle rider for sure, he ran 916 ninja lab's at 16 across the board......would have been better off bolting his boots directly to the boards. Quote

Shadows Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 im 140 lbs and rocked px15s at 11. large jumps though, safety first. dont want them things coming off on lading. was scared to ride them that high at blue though. Quote
jordan Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Nestors had them set to 11.5 with no special sign off. Buckmans....8.5 stop trying to act core. there is no way in hell your chart is 11.5. My chart is 9.5, and I am 6'3", 230 lbs. 1 Quote

I took note of what they were before I dropped them off...and what they were after. Nothing 'core' about that. Just simply stating a fact. They were set previously by Nestors (a core shop, nevertheless), and never touched by me. Quote
phillycore Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 (edited) I wasn't even that high on the chart at 6'1" and 330 freaking pounds and I ride markers man..... Lol Edited November 8, 2011 by phillycore Quote
