Timeless Posted November 18, 2011 Author Report Posted November 18, 2011 Awesome..so British people don't celebrate Thanksgiving..weak Yes, we celebrate having a day (or 2) off work to go skiing. I like turkey but I prefer snowboarding. The years we spent in PA we would do the whole traditional feast with the exception of candied yams (surely only an american could have come up with that), but in the end it just seems like such a waste of a day getting fat and drunk. This from last year at thanksgiving..... at 10 years old how would you rather spend your day 2 Quote
sibhusky Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 When they used to be open here on Thanksgiving, we'd ski in the AM and make dinner when we got home. Not sure where your issue is, GSS. 1 Quote
