Blue Mt. NASTAR to be on Razors Edge for 2012

NASTAR's website lists Razors Edge as the race trail for 2012. This is great news if it is true, and I will be back to put an extra hundred in Blue's bank account. Atomic Jeff and I were up on Saturday and noticed that they physically removed the old start haus from Widowmaker. I haven't been to the valley yet, but am looking forward to a pleasant surprise in a few weeks.

 

I really hope that they didn't rename Finish Line as Lower Razors Edge.

 

I know there are people on here that would like to try NASTAR, now may be the time.

My bet is they'll be using Razor Back as the start, and the finish line at the top of the last headwall.

i heard it will be on the new trail razorback(?)cut just above the lowere headwall off of razor's. monday nights as well are siupposed to be over there... speaking of, i guess its almost time for the monday night beer league roll call thread

I finally clicked on the new trail map over on the website. That Razorback run looks promising. It should be a win-win situation. The racers will come back to Blue for Nastar, plus the course will be in a highly visible area under a lift ensuring new patrons will get involved.
