Ski Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 Mostly just to show Jeff, but here's a pic of the odd sized GS:11's with a 109mm shovel on the far right. The middle pair are the "off the rack" GS:11's I bought after the season ended; my SL:11's are on the left. The lobes are the same, but the 109's look a lot like SL:11's... Quote
skidude Posted June 16, 2005 Report Posted June 16, 2005 Ski999...I think I have seen those atomics before. It seems like atomic has about 10 new GS/SL skis each year...Be a real pain in the @$$ to find which ones you like. Quote
Ski Posted June 16, 2005 Author Report Posted June 16, 2005 It's better than when they only made one new version every four years, though. And I guess the positive side is that I really like the beta lobe dampening system in Atomics---better than K2's PE or Salomon's bars---but the 21m is hard to shorten with such a stiff ski. It's like if you're late in one turn, the next four gates are blown trying to recover and get back ahead of the course. So the 16m is a way to cheat a little. Quote
skidude Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 I will say that the salomon bars don't do much on my crossmaxs....They rattle pretty hard when I rip around on them. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted June 17, 2005 Report Posted June 17, 2005 ahhhhhh, If only I wasn't buying wheels this weekend, I'd BIN on the other pair. Nice skis, can't wait to try them out Quote
AtomicSkier Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 btw, to anyone that cares, i'm buying a pair of these special production atomics this weekend! Quote
Papasteeze Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 these????? where are they, what are they?? Quote
skifreak Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 Be sure to posts some pics Jeff, I'd love to see them. Quote
Papasteeze Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 I just bought them! 29723[/snapback] EBAY???? Quote
Papasteeze Posted July 27, 2005 Report Posted July 27, 2005 Nice... I found the unicycles there, looking at and learning surfboards now. Still throw bids on grass skis. Ebay rules as long as get what you are bidding on... Just no warranty... Quote
