toast21602 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 WTF.... I miss a jf powder day and this is all I get. lol it was awesome. not as good as the PASR day a year or two back, but still really good. Quote
phillycore Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 when I drove by tussey, I was thinking man... I wouldn't mind getting in a few turns.....and if my gear was in the car instead of the wife and kids you bet your ass that I would've.... lol Quote
toast21602 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 haha nice. yeah it sucks that you missed out on the first PA powder day, but obviously you had other commitments. don't worry. Utah will make up for that and the beer at the powder keg will be flowing freely. Quote
JFskiDan Posted January 22, 2012 Author Report Posted January 22, 2012 WTF.... I miss a jf powder day and this is all I get. lol Sorry for the teaser. A normally 12 minute commute turned into over a half hour as the road conditions were not great, managed to pull in at just after 8 with snow still falling. They had Challenge roped off for a race....kind of unsportsman like conduct on a powder day if you ask me. headed to east mountain and lapped lightning/rivershot and floyds before they got tracked out. crowds really didnt pick up until about 9:30, and even at the busiest time i didnt ever really have a line at the lift. Started making laps to the elevator after the trails got tracked out a bit. sometime after that i spotted Toast and his crew over by risk it and floyds. Met up with them for a run shortly there after, and then a ski exchange for myself. made a few runs down tbolt and exhibition, and then back over to east. My day was limited till about 1 pm so i was focused on getting as many runs in as possible......last run i made was down through happyland, which was still roped off, i figured if they were gonna get bent about it, it should be on my last run. looked like they were packing things up on Challange, so no big deal. happyland was still in pretty decent shape for 1 pm. left after that run. great day, it snowed until 10 or 11, but remained kinda cloudy and cold. Didnt date the title either - 1-21-2012 Saw these guys from the lift a few times Happyland Quote
toast21602 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 happyland was good. we took 2 runs in there while they were messing with their gates for the race. they didn't seem to care at all. Quote
