GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 What did u get at the Slopeside grill?? The Dude4Bides said its a rip off Quote
phillycore Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 The bottom of your spindles not being painted is irksomeI'll tell you what....you come down, lay on your stomache, or bring a creeper and paint them....I'll supply the paint, and a little brush, I'll even lay a beer out every 15th spindle. There's 150 of them so by the time you're done you'll be feeling good and won't be irked by the 1" section that was left unpainted until next spring after we re-stain the deck again anymore. Deal? 1 Quote
Shadows Posted August 30, 2015 Report Posted August 30, 2015 If my calculations are correct thats 10 birs. Ive been known to pee beds with less than that... You sure you know what youre offering? 4 Quote
Justo8484 Posted September 3, 2015 Report Posted September 3, 2015 High alpine biking on the CDNST Dude. You win. That looks amazing. Heading up to vt next weekend for a long weekend bike trip and I can't wait to rip some singletrack and wash it down with some heady and hill farmstead. In the mean time, saw this in center city tonight: 1 Quote
phillycore Posted September 4, 2015 Report Posted September 4, 2015 last time they brought the cyldesdales to center city pat burrell was riding it cause he got stuck in traffic on the way to the parade I rode the septa train into the city via the media /elwyn line to the 08' Parade. Don't think I could've gotten any luckier. I got on at Elwyn (first stop) on the first train of the day. People were literally fighting to get on it.....not everyone fit....it closed the doors and stopped at the 2nd stop and there was about 300 people waiting for the train. Maybe 10 more squeezed on.....the train blew past every other stop without stopping, you could see hundreds of pissed off people at every stop. Made it to the station and walked to where that Giant paperclip thing is where the start of the parade was. Broad Street was packed but still open....I just stood right on the corner until the police grabbed the barrier to close broad street. As they closed broad street I just helped them move the barrier and had a perfect spot for the parade... After the parade was over I went back to the train and saw hundreds of people just rushing but they were all late and missed out. Getting back wasn't as easy but I wasn't about to hang out while the lines got longer. Quote
phillycore Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 i took the chinatown bus from nyc and didnt have any problems, but my brother got on septa at downingtown (second to last stop on the line) and same thing happened, no people were allowed on after downingtown. i was near the paperclip as well. i loved when id be on the D train and they announce "All D trains are running express in the Bronx" it was really fun looking at all the pissed off people at the stations as you flew past them. however, being on the Q and they announce it wouldnt be running over the bridge was hell. id be like "welp, guess im gonna be late to work today" Rumor has it that Doug loves the D train 2 Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 5, 2015 Report Posted September 5, 2015 Yup I used to work at the D back in high school. My favorite was serving meat to the customers and squirt soda. Even mopping the floors was fun. Phillycore would love eating lunch at the D Quote
toast21602 Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Rumor has it that Doug loves the D train its the only train he hops on anymore. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 I'd love to hop on the D train or any train for that matter. The last train I've been on was at the Denver airport in April. Wow just wow Quote
phillycore Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 I guarantee that I'll never be hopping on the D train..... Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 6, 2015 Report Posted September 6, 2015 Phillycore after a couple Zimas or twisted teas or whatever you drink anything is possible. Quote
Shadows Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Cool stadium but the actual team is worse than garbage. It was like watching and adult soft ball team. Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 7, 2015 Report Posted September 7, 2015 Shadows was the game a sellout? I haven't been to an iron pigs game in like 6 years. Quote
Shadows Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 Id say 55-65% More like 35-40% Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 That's a shame. The same will happen to the Phantoms attendance as the years pass Quote
Shadows Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 If they didnt suck balls it would probably be a better turnout. Elemetary tee ball games are more interesting. Still a good time though. Nice that its here Quote
