I think I missed toast by about an hour.  I'm in Chicago now.

Toast, if you have time to kill, Root Down is a good restaurant with local beers, if you're in terminal C

Made a pit stop at Great Divide. Was in Root Down in January when I was out here and I concur.

Until you said in January, thought it was named after that fateful morning on Razor's . . .

Had an alumni soccer game yesterday. About 35 guys came back to play the current college team. Ya old goals had them 1-0, but when the more recent grads went in they gave up 3 goals. All good because we got to enjoy plenty of beers while they blew it.

And now I’m super sore today.

Do you fish from a kayak?

I was last night...I would say I fish with the kayak one out of every three trips.  it depends on where I'm fishing.  If I'm doing beach front or fishing from jetties, I'm on foot.  My casting range is limited with the fly rod, so the kayak is definitely helpful

Used to fish those back bays a lot during the day running from bridge to bridge and in my yak. That of course was before kids!

Yeah, I fish bridges and light/shadow lines a lot at night, the kayak is nice since I can get to spots that aren't accessible on foot.  My fishing time decreased after my daughter was born too, but night fishing still works and doesn't affect family time too much
