10/10 times I will pay someone to take care of the leaves solely based on the fact that I cannot stand having to deal with them.

Working an event at Dover for Autism Awareness/Race for Autism. Unfortunately doesn’t look like the race is actually going happen due to the rain.

Are you working security?  Whenever I see Dover it reminds me of @saltyant buddy Ben Dover.  I was at work yesterday to meet with a 93 year old and her three kids for a double memorial stone..and selling one today at 1230.  Lunch is on the company and McDonald’s serves breakfast all day..rack it.

No, volunteering for a non profit that provides care for people with disabilities.

Unfortunately it got rained out and pushed to tomorrow.

Fortunately, I turned $20 into $300 in the casino, parking was free, my race ticket was free, and now I get a day off of work tomorrow to go back and watch the race.

i like to watch cars go around in circles.  I get that alot of people dont get it, but i will never comprehend watching golf on TV, so to each his own.  Dover is one of those tracks though, that someone who doesnt quite get it, should go to.  When they start or restart the race, you sort of think to yourself, "there aint now way all those cars are going to make it around that first turn".  It really looks like there will be a pile up around every turn.

Unless you are going to be in the infield, dont go to Pocono expecting an interesting race.  you just cant see that much of the track.

Does the Dover track have the big national races for Nastar and Indycar?

Only NASCAR and it’s lower tiered series. Indycar and other open wheel style cars are too fast and dangerous for the size of the track.

I've never been but I was always under the impression the infield is the only way to do nascar. Drink and camp.

There's a few local dirt/sprint tracks around here i want to get to.

FWIW the one cool thing about nascar (or any track really) is that you can bring your own food and beer in which can save some money, although the concession prices weren’t outrageous to being with. 6 pack of 60 minute was $9, Wawa hoagie was $4.99, bag of chips was $1.29. In total I got a 6 pack of decent beer and lunch for less than $20. You can’t buy a bud light and French fries for less than that at any professional sporting event in philly.

Beautiful evening after the crappy weekend weather 👍

Great pic, just needs some NASCAR. My favorite driver is Rowdy Burns.

I was always a fan of Dick Trickle. Surprisingly, no relation to Dick Passwater, a former indy driver I believe.
