Mixilplix Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Hadn't had the Mazda out since mid August. Took a ride up to Blue to run some gas through it, then filled the tank up...Ready to be put on stands for the winter... 7 1 Quote
Popular Post C1erArt Posted November 16, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted November 16, 2021 Just got back from our fall trip out west, visiting New Mexico. Trip didn’t start out too well, with a large branch falling on our windshield coming out of a state park in Missouri. But other than that, it went pretty well. Visited the area around Taos, then west towards Los Alamos and the state parks and BLM land in that area. Then south to the lava fields south of Grant along with Inscription rock. Then further south to Silver city and the Gila National Monument area. 14 1 1 Quote

GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 22, 2021 Report Posted November 22, 2021 Cool late afternoon late November sky Quote
GrilledSteezeSandwich Posted November 22, 2021 Report Posted November 22, 2021 The sky became more colorful a few minutes later. Only thing miss is purple mountain majesty or at least being above the fruity planes on an Aeroplane to get to the mountains of Busch. 1 Quote
momskeeztoo Posted November 25, 2021 Report Posted November 25, 2021 Pre Thanksgiving activity yesterday here in Georgia. Drove about an hour north to Garland Mountain Sporting Clays to skeet shoot. I used to target practice quite a bit, but that was one of the things I gave up after kids, and never really got back into. Shot some clay pigeons yesterday, and it was fun. Of course, hubby came in first out of our group of 6. There’s a place right outside Egypt Pa to do this. May have to take a trip up there 6 Quote

Popular Post Barb Posted November 26, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted November 26, 2021 Went out for a tour today at Moffatt Tunnel. Had to carry our skis for about 1/2 mile before there was enough snow to put them on. At first it wasn’t so bad, but then it was just an asteroid field of rocks to dodge. We went about 1.7 miles in and it was not improving at all so we turned around. skied down part of the way w skins on to protect bases but it was no good. After 1/2 mile took off skis and put them back on our packs. Still counting it as my first day. All pics of my friend Ilise. this is a good one to show all they rocks 11 3 1 Quote

Benm Posted December 1, 2021 Report Posted December 1, 2021 (edited) ok so i'm not sure whether this should be in the pics from today thread or the beer thread. the pics aren't from today and its not beer. i've always stuck to orthodoxy with things like this. but... after my cousin posted something that sounded very tasty on fb, i decided it was time to try something new. this is far different than traditional in the sense that there aren't really any spices. what i normally make calls for allspice, caraway seeds and cloves. normally there is also a lot less fruit in the mix as well. i tried some early yesterday morning (it had to cool down overnight) and it is no joke. this is definitely a sipping drink - at least the first couple of glasses. anyway, it's called pineapple upside down boilo and is supposedly an award winning skook recipe. the ingredient photo is missing pineapple orange juice and half of the motts for tots. i have all of the ingredients for the one i regularly make, will prob do that in a couple weeks. PSUFrankenstein Posted December 4, 2021 Report Posted December 4, 2021 Went to see Breaking benjamin play an acoustic show at wind creek last night. Beers and dinner at McCall before. The show was great, different vibe than when I've seen them play a regular show 4 Quote

Popular Post Barb Posted December 11, 2021 Popular Post Report Posted December 11, 2021 My guys got the roof dried in just in time for this latest storm. Gonna head down early January once all the windows are in. Can’t wait to lay eyes on it. My builder said there was a bald Eagle hanging around all day. Property goes uphill and eventually reaches forest land. Although that lot belongs to someone else I have heard they live out of state and only come every few years. There is enough space to ski it on a makeshift 4 x 4 road. Only a few hundred feet of very but the steepness of a black resort run. 10 5 Quote
