The sun poked out this afternoon between snow squalls and made the backyard and field look pretty cool covered in Monday’s ice. I always enjoy things being white in the winter instead of brown and dead.

I too love round picnic tables that are too close together....

But seriously, they are really putting the firepower to work on that place and seeing the gates at the sixer makes me excited.

It was so nice skiing from 6 pack. Snow was really nice today and held up nicely, too.

Arapahoe Basin was fun today. I was surprised it wasn’t busier. My son convinced me to do the backside off the Zuma lift. Those runs are marked blue, but they feel pretty freaking steep to me.

Top of Zuma. Beautiful sunny day. Crowds starting to pick up. They are scanning at mid mountain because they said people skinning up are cheating. It is slowing everything down.

Off shore wind had the water stirred up? Or was it more southerly cause offshores don’t do that

SW wind in central NJ will cause an upwelling and dirty the water. NW or light NE will bring that clear water. Really need light NE to get the temps up this time of year.

Yeah it was a south wind most of the  day, then switched to a SW wind later in the day.  Either way, water clarity wasn't great out front.  A little further inside the inlet was fine.  I've caught  plenty of fish in really stirred up conditions, but not last week.

SW will clean up the waves. Don’t give a crap about clarity (and fish don’t either)
