phillycore Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 ok so when is the PASR Alien day going to be? (pick a Saturday.....hint hint) Quote
toast21602 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 i doubt camelback will last longer than Blue. Quote
toast21602 Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Aren't they open a week or two longer than Blue almost every season? from what i hear they don't have much coverage. i could be wrong though since that is based solely on word of mouth. i also don't remember them starting this pass deal this early. that could be a sign. OutCold Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 There coverage was pretty bad. It looked better last week. I don't think anyone's making it very far this year. Quote
toast21602 Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Blue is staying open longer than last year??? We haven't had any crazy melt downs. No entire weeks in the 60s with most nights going into the 20s. thank god for that. no big january thaw like every year. this year we just never had a real long cold spell. Quote
phillycore Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 I know JF doesn't have very good coverage.... the snow's freaking great, but it's not deep. Quote
IwantIceCream Posted March 3, 2012 Report Posted March 3, 2012 I saw the fog outside this morning - but I THOUGHT I might head up to Camelback for the ALIEN special. :-) I was up early and restless....so why not? About 7:30 AM, I step outside for the first time to go to the car and it is actually RAINING (here in Easton)...so that is the end of that for today LOL. I had not realize rain was actually FALLING earlier. I U-Turned and now I am back at my computer - with more coffee. Maybe today is a better day to go bowling. Probably going to Blue Mtn Sunday morning. I will save Camelback's Alien for a different session - maybe a night ski this upcoming week. To Be Determined. That is the best I can do for a Trip Report for today. Best Regards, IwantIceCream Quote
