indiggio Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 A race down an ungroomed steep? A tad bit crazy. http://contour.com/stories/rahlves-banzai-tour-2012-sugar-bowl-daron-practice-run Quote
Johnny Style Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 (edited) Nice, D-Money is the man. I heard he won the competition this year. I like that; start a competition, put your name on it, and win it. Jonny Moseley did something similar about ten years ago for big air. This is about as close to a sanctioned Chinese Downhill race as you will find. When I spoke to Daron a few years ago he was bemoaning the fact that there was no longer a ski-cross tour (only one race at the X-Games), so more power to him for starting up a race series. Timeless Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 I've watched this at Alpine and Sugarbowl, it's completely nuts, and should be done more often Quote
