Ride Delaware ? Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 I decided to put this off until a little later this year, but as we quickly approach labor day, I figured I would finally get things started. I decided I would like something a little more fun and flexible on the mountain, and after trying out a friend's older model, I decided to pull the trigger and snagged a 2011/2012 K2 Fastplant off eBay brand new for about 50% off. I also snagged a SmartWool Lightweight Base Layer. I am still looking at bindings, but I am considering something quick and different like a pair of Flows. I'll decide on that a little bit later. Lets hear what you've got... Quote
AngryHugo Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 New skis are on the way - Moment Bibby Pros. I pro-formed them at the end of the season, and they are finally in stock. I may get some new boots, too. My Full Tilts didn't hold hold my heels in very well, and there wasn't enough room in them for my orthotics. A different liner or heat molding the old ones again might do the trick though. Flow makes some pretty good bindings, but don't go cheap on them. The lower end of the scale has real durability problems. Quote

Johnny Law Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 New skis are on the way - Moment Bibby Pros. Sick Bird ! I got some free shit, florescent green goggles and some hoodies......I want to get a pair of Ski Logik Ullr's Chariot with a custom Buddha graphic but I probably don't need any more skis. Quote
Johnny Law Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 J Law you're lucky you get free swag. I haven't bought anything except boots in three years and I'm badly in need of gear. I actually am taking a break from drinking right now and the money I save at the bars will finance a lot of gear. At karaoke night I spent $2 instead of $30 lol What do you need ? Quote

Johnny Style Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 There is a new clothing company called Strafe Outerwear. http://strafeouterwear.com/ They are located at the base of Aspen Highlands. Their signature product is a one-piece suit called the Sickbird Suit. GSS has been looking to upgrade his outfit for years now. Call me crazy but this outfit just screams GSS. 2 Quote
Johnny Law Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 Congrats Jeff..u get a purple helmet? Purple has been associated with royalty and nobility since the Phoenicians were collecting that shit from sea snails. Purple is a glorious color...now if I could only find pants. 1 Quote
