PASKIINGSUCKS
School me on Canadia please. I'll be taking a bus trip to quebec city this winter for the EPSC Winter Carnival, gonna be skiing Mont St. Anne and Massif I believe. Anybody been there and can offer any helpful advice?? Secret stashes, lifts to lap or avoid, french phrases that are worth their weight in gold, places that are a must see in the area???? Any advice is appreciated and of course I'll be sure and take some pics for a slightly informational TR upon my return.

PASKIINGSUCKS
Rooms available into december now I heard but don't quote me on it. Looks like it's gonna be fun what with the whole carnival thing goin on and all. And I guess staying at this sleezy roach motel doesn't sound too bad either...... What club you with?? My old man got us in Upperbucks long long ago so we could take killy bus trips and such at reasonable rates. I owe much of my younger days of skiing vermont to these touristy bus trips and I must say they are usually a really great time. also been to Orford and Winter park with the EPSC before and it's always a great time for all. vinnyv11
My neighbor is the president of the Merck Ski Club and she's running that trip this year. Been trying to talk me into it for a while.
PASKIINGSUCKS
Yea it's pricey but for what you're getting it seems very worth it. I've only been skiing up in Canada once so it should be a new experience for sure. I just want me some poutine in a bad way. I gotta get on my passport STAT though. I gotta get on my passport STAT though. if you're in a pinch for the passport and can spare a day to take a drive, you can go to one of the federal passport offices and just walk in and get everything done that day instead of mailing everything and waiting some indeterminate amount of time. conveniently, one of the 6(?) federal passport offices is in center city philly, a very short drive from you. i ended up doing that when i needed to get one, and it was way less nerve-wracking than waiting for it to come in the mail and hoping i'd get it in time.
PASKIINGSUCKS
I might look into that, I need it within 2 months so I've got a little time but knocking it out in one day sure does sound good to me. Is there a hefty fee to taking care of it instantly like that??

Johnny Law
I don't know how its spelled but here are the french phrases I know, I have spelled them exactly like they are pronounced. Ah Putan - Oh Fuck Putan Merde - kinda like Fuck Shit but I don't think it directly translates Schuss walabiet put - Suck my dick bitch Onie Va - Lets go Enjoy the travels dude, Massif is cool because it looks like your going to ski into a giant lake, Mt St Anne is near Quebec City if a remember right. I don't know your status but if you have a significant other take them along and go to the historical section of Quebec city, spend some money and he or she will be naked before you get back to the hotel. That town is a real panty dropper. Also the Chateau Frontenac is there which is kinda like a castle, bitches love castles.......
moe ghoul
I did my passport renewal thru the mail and the turnaround time was about 10 days about 2 months ago for my twice postponed euro trip in Feb. But yeah, if you have the time getting it manually it removes the USPS potential fuck up. Edited November 30, 2012 by moe ghoul

No significant other at this time, I'll be traveling with my father but we usually just ski together then party seperate on these trips so if I go wandering at all I'll be solo. We're staying at Frontenac actually so that should be badass. Thanks for all the help so far guys, minus douglass of course. How you seem to post so much and still say so little will always be a mystery to me.

Ended up going this route, driving down there tomorrow for an 8 am appt. If all goes well I should have a passport by this time tomorrow and be packed to leave for quebec this time next week. PASKIINGSUCKS
Never did up a TR for this trip so I'll drop the 3 or so pics I took that made it to my facebook. Frontenac from the boardwalk out front. Hotel Glace outside quebec city. Crazy ice hotel with intense carvings and such, also an ice bar inside. Le Massif on our last ski day of the trip, great views of the St. Lawrence.
