RidgeRacer Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Just back from a nice day at BB. JF Dan and I got there around 9:45. We got in line and were one of the first 20 people to ride the lift and score some free schwag! The top was foggy the bottom half was clear in the morning, by noon the fog had lifted. We lapped Boulder Park 25 times and skied Love Park 3 times for a total of 28 runs. The snow was fast and grippy - very nice. Good coverage on both trails. Great way to get the ski legs back. Lots of fun today. 2 Quote
JFskiDan Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Very fun day today, and some Big Boulder limited edition sunglasses to boot. Hopefully we will get some temps later on this week so they can open some other trails, and get going on Frost. 1 Quote
AtomicSkier Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 hopefully BB holds up until next weekend...i may need a place to ski! Quote
toast21602 Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 i'll be there next weekend most likely - at least one day. lets hope for a freak change in the jet stream to pull down some arctic air. Quote
AtomicSkier Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 Same..BB will prob be able to blow at least one night during the week...reading about Smartass and PARidge skiing 25 runs on BBpark trail seems like $28 isn't too bad..$1 a run heh.. BB trail is 100% better than what we were skiing this weekend Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 3, 2012 Author Report Posted December 3, 2012 Between Thurday and Sunday I probably lapped BB Trail 45 to 50 times and Love another handful of times on good snow. I'm not complaining. Looks like snowmaking should start again Wednesday night. Quote
JFskiDan Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) nice pics. Funny. i was thinking the same thing when i was reading the TR from Blue on Saturday. This was top of BB, Sat. totally fogged in. Sunday was better, but still foggy. Although coverage on the slopes was good, the areas that connect the slopes could use some help. Fog seems to be snows arch nemesis. And it was $35 for the weekend. Edited December 3, 2012 by JFskiDan Quote

RidgeRacer Posted December 3, 2012 Author Report Posted December 3, 2012 You should be able to attach straight from your iphone. You might have to switch to the full site though. 1 Quote

Ride Delaware ? Posted December 3, 2012 Report Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) I'll have to learn how to transfer photos from my phone to PASR since my iPhone is essentially my computer.I still use photbucket, but each to his own... I use Tapatalk to view general posts... Full site for stat upload... Once we have mobile picture uploads and stats, I'll probably never use the full site again lol Glad you guys got out and lapped it, even if it is limited terrain... It feels so good to get back on the snow... Edited December 3, 2012 by Ride Delaware ? Quote
