Schif Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 Some great news. I can't wait until Thursday Quote
KCSKI Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 Just pushed it back one day to Friday...with this storm coming it will give us more time to get more slopes open. Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 Not opening because of snow? Lame. 1 Quote
RidgeRacer Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 To quote Bane from the dark knight "theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated... But we are initiated" Quote
KCSKI Posted December 26, 2012 Author Report Posted December 26, 2012 Not opening because we needed one more good day of either snowmaking, or in this case ..a snow storm. Quote
toast21602 Posted December 26, 2012 Report Posted December 26, 2012 Ouch. Sucks for the people that made plans to come up on Thursday. But I'm pumped to see you guys opening Friday! Quote
fluffy Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 I thought you said Sno could get 100% open with 24 hours of snowmaking? Lulz. 1 Quote
Schif Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 Even if you bump the opening again, I'll be there tomorrow morning with a cooler and a no holds barred attitude. Give me some damn snow and some sudafed. It's going to be an adventure in the next 24 hours Quote
guitar73 Posted December 27, 2012 Report Posted December 27, 2012 how crowded does it usually get on opening day? Quote
skier17 Posted December 28, 2012 Report Posted December 28, 2012 I thought you said Sno could get 100% open with 24 hours of snowmaking? Lulz. Typical Sno Mountain stretching the truth. You would think most of the mountain would be open instead of what they are calling 8 slopes. Needing more time to get connection, Nordic, Baby Moose, the two bunny hils cannonball, bomer and whistler is a joke with how they have bragged about their snowmaking ability. If you think about it the real reason is they probably didn't want to chance opening the day of a storm with the unknown of people being able to get there. In reality that was probably a smart decision with the financial issues. But don't make up BS just to make it sound good. In KC's defense he is only relaying what he is told. I know how the main people only tell the management team certain things. Quote
